Common questions

"I'm not getting my alerts." Open Super Reminder once — that forces a full refresh of your schedule. Then make sure Notifications and Background App Refresh are turned on for Super Reminder in the iOS Settings app. The in-app Things to Know screen walks through the most common causes.

"Some earlier alerts didn't fire on a busy day." iOS limits how many reminders an app can queue at once. Super Reminder always protects each event's "Go time" alert first, and may trim some earlier heads-ups on very full days. Keeping your alert sequences lean leaves more room.

"My phone is on silent — will I still be alerted?" Yes. The ring switch mutes the ping sounds, but the vibration buzzes still come through (unless you've also turned off vibration in iOS Settings).

"How do I change how loud or often it alerts me?" Every alert's timing, number of buzzes, number of pings, and sound tone is adjustable — per event — inside the app.

"How do I stop the app from communicating with the server?" Open Settings in the app and turn off Cloud Refresh. That deletes your device token from our servers and stops the background refresh pings. (Your alerts still fire from your device; you just won't get the periodic background catch-up.)
